Eikaiwa Lunch at VU Restaurant

This past Sunday we had an Eikaiwa Lunch at VU Restaurant in Jersey City.  We all enjoyed English conversation with a great view and good food.

The best part is that everyone who joined was extremely motivated speak English and had interesting backgrounds and great stories to tell!  We discussed different ways to improve English speaking and listening skills and shared ideas about the best ways to study English in New York.  I will be posting some of my favorite websites for studying English soon!  You can read more about the lunch at the VU Restaurant in Japanese on Aiko-san’s (Organizer of the lunch and Acupuncturist here in New York!) blog Jersey City とVu ランチ

The food was delicious and presented beautifully as well!

The VU Restaurant is located in the Hyatt Hotel in Jersey City.  Jersey City is very close to Manhattan and very easy to get to.  If you just hop on the path train at the world trade center the stop for the VU Restaurant is only one stop away!  Outside of the restaurant you can can walk along the water and get an even closer view of the city’s skyline.  It was really nice to be so close to the water and get to enjoy the lovely view outside.
