Although it was quite a while ago I never got a chance to write about my trip to New Hampshire…
It was a beautiful time to go because the leaves were changing. Sometimes it’s hard to see the changing seasons in New York City, so I was really excited.
The first night we had homemade sushi!
We also made amazake.
A few weekends we visited New Hope Pennsylvania. We actually got here by accident…or I should say due to my bad sense of direction.
But it was a really cute town with a bunch of antique and craft shops. We could also see the beautiful fall leaves changing along the Delaware river.
I made a bento for lunch as well.
I made walnut amazake cookies.
Sweet potato salad and rice croquette
I attended Kiyomi-san and Natsuko-san’s one day Macrobiotic cafe last Friday. I loved the way the room was set up with bright colors and items reminiscent of a tropical place. My favorite dish was the shio-koji ramen and of course the amazake dessert! The amazake was served frozen so it tasted like a sorbet. It was really delicious!
