Today I had the pleasure of joining Tomoko-san’s bread making class. I learned how to make pizza and gristini from scratch! I don’t have much experience in making bread, or should I say I have never really been successful in making bread. But today I learned a lot of new things about bread making and I have confidence that I could make it at home sometimes now. Tomoko-san’s teaching method was very easy to understand and she knows so many things about bread making. She taught us about the ingredients that she uses which are mostly organic as well as the tools that make bread-making easier. We got to try the pizza and gristini in class and we also got to take the dough that we made in class home with us so that we can bake it ourselves at home. Tomoko-san also served us corn soup that she made which was absolutely delicious! I hope to get the opportunity to take another one of her classes soon.
